(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On April 23, 2012 just after 7:00 a.m. a Huron County OPP officer traveling northbound on Base Line observed a southbound green Mazda Protégé traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer activated the RADAR and speed of 132 km/h was obtained, which is 52 km/h above the posted 80km/h speed limit.
Ashley LENG, age 19, from London, ON has been issued a summons for “Racing a motor vehicleâ€Â. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 5, 2012 at Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich. Her driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and the Mazda has been impounded for seven days.
