Arson In Owen Sound – Public Should Be Vigilant

On 29 July 2017 shortly after 3:00am the Owen Sound Police and Fire were dispatched to the 3500 block of East Bayshore Road regarding a vehicle that had been set ablaze. The Owner was

able to act quickly and extinguish the flames limiting the damage. This senseless act could have been much more serious as the fire could have easily spread to the other vehicles in the driveway

and to the residence where people were sleeping.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify those responsible.
