Over 90 people watched last night’s council meeting via YouTube live stream, a new record!
At last night’s council meeting it was revealed that we have an arsenic problem. Don’t worry, they have no idea how bad it is, and Kelly Church is on the case….ok, maybe panic! Watch the video below for yourself and see Kelly Church’s “I don’t give a F*** attitude”. Maybe this is the way things are done where he is from, but around here we care about our environment and want a better Community.
After Kelly Church brushes off the arsenic issue nonchalantly, he shows even less of a shit regarding his inability to handle the landfill. Deputy Reeve James Campbell was bold enough to question Kelly Church about the landfill debacle.
Deputy Reeve James Campbell asked “What can we do about it?” and was rudely cut off by kelly church with “Well there are different opinions on what we could do, should do. “ It was obvious kelly church is going to do absolutely nothing about the recycling debacle and lacks the capacity for shame.
This problem seems to be beyond councillor Trevor Seip, as he also displayed his “don’t give a F*** attitude” and told the Public to “take a number” and be patient, a decision will be made at some point.
kelly church apparently lacks the intellectual capacity to do his job, but you probably figured that out by our rotting infrastructure. It is a shame Trevor Seip can’t solve a simple problem and blindly defends kelly church. They are trying to tell the Public the recyclable debacle is due to budget cuts. That is 100% bullshit.
If kelly church wants to save some money, how about we stop paying two people to empty our town’s trash cans. One sits and rides shotgun, shamelessly suckling at the taxpayers teat and accomplishing absolutely nothing. Simply fire one of the two slackers that take ½ a day to empty a few trash cans. Use those savings to fund recycle bins at the landfill. Better yet fire them both by moving the trash cans to the same side of the street as the garbage/recycling pickup and get Waste Management to empty them when they do their route.
Current Director of Public Works, kelly church, stated that recyclables were dropped off at Wingham Town Hall today because the bins were full at the Reid Road landfill.
This is a simple issue. Should the residents of the highest taxed town in Ontario be “allowed” to drop recyclables off at the Reid Road landfill? Obviously the answer is yes.
kelly church and Trevor Seip would like you to think it is an incredibly complex issue in a stalling attempt hoping the People will just shut up and forget about it.
What are possible solutions?
1. Empty the bins more frequently.
2. Have more bins.
3. Have bigger bins.
4. Create a drop off spot at the landfill for when the bins are full.
5. Combination of the above.
Arsenic, blocked sidewalks and trails, Reid Road tar and chip farce, pot holes, dangling shoes, 3 foot sidewalk weeds, closed bridge, pot holes, recycle debacle, refusal to clear Hanna Bridge….it is starting to be obvious to everyone that this man doesn’t care about our infrastructure, Community or our Children. Don’t worry, council will rubber stamp another raise when the time comes.
Should kelly church still have a job if he can’t even handle a recyclable drop off point?
