(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service East District Investigation Unit has charged two men after acts of vandalism and mischief on the Airport Parkway targeted one Blue Line taxi driver.
On September 8th the Ottawa Police received multiple reports of vandalism in the area of the Airport Parkway. Some of the incidents were captured on video and posted to Social Media sites.
Jehad JABARA, 37 yrs, and Salim MANKAL, 45 yrs, both of Ottawa have been charged in relation to one of the reported incidents from the Airport Parkway captured on the Off Ramp at approximately 3:30pm. Each man faces one count of Mischief Over $5000 and Possession Weapons Dangerous and are scheduled to appear in court later today.
East District Investigators continue to collect evidence on this incident and other incidents of vandalism or mischief reported relating to a labour dispute involving airport taxi drivers.
