The Owen Sound Police Service investigated several thefts from vehicles on February 9, 2016. Through investigation by the uniform branch and the Community Oriented Response and Enforcement Unit (CORE) an arrest has been made. This investigation has led to the arrest of a youth on February 11th. The youth has been charged with three counts of theft and has been released to attend court in March. At this time, no property has been recovered. Officers continue to investigate these incidents and anyone with information regarding these thefts is encouraged to contact the Duty Sergeant of the Owen Sound Police Service or Crimestoppers of Grey Bruce at 1 800 222-TIPS (8477). Police are again reminding the public to lock their vehicles at all times.
