Arrest Made in Series of Robberies in Mississauga

Mississauga – Officers from the Central Robbery Bureau have arrested a man in relation to a series of knife-point robberies that occurred between July 20and July 27, 2016 in the City of Mississauga.

During this time frame, the accused attended each of the following locations and brandished a knife while making a demand for cash and property:

Petro-Canada, located at 1520 Britannia Road West, Mississauga

Mr. Convenience, located at 1474 Pickwick Drive, Mississauga

Subway, located at 6065 Creditview Road, Mississauga

No injuries were sustained by any of the victims during the robberies.

On July 28, 2016, the accused was arrested by Peel Regional Police officers.

Lou-I BOU-CHAHINEa 24 year old man from Mississauga has been charged with three counts of Robbery, three counts of Disguise with Intent and one count of Possession of Stolen Property.

BOU-CHAHINE was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brampton, on July 29, 2016.
