Major Crime Section members continue to investigate the death of a male at 323 Colborne Street on August 28, 2016. Uniformed officers who responded to the scene located the body of a deceased male in a dwelling unit at that location. The deceased has been identified as Nathan Timothy Deslippe, 27 years of age, of London.
The adult male arrested at the scene shortly after 10:00am is William Omar Joles, also 27 years of age, of London. He has been charged with one count of second degree murder in relation to the death of Mr. Deslippe. Joles is also charged with one count each of forcible confinement, assault and uttering threats to cause death against a second individual. These charges stem from a related event at the same location.
An autopsy will be conducted on Monday, August 29 at London Health Sciences Centre.
