On Monday June 20th, 2016, just before 6:00 pm, a male entered the Georgetown Pharmacy located at 118 Mill Street, Georgetown. The male made a demand for narcotics with his hand concealed inside a knapsack. The pharmacist complied with the male providing him with some narcotics. The suspect fled the store leaving the pharmacist uninjured.
As a result of the investigation members from the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau quickly identified the suspect as Shawn WALKER. On June 24th, 2016, WALKER was arrested by police and charged in relation to this incident.
Investigators executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a Mississauga residence and recovered several items of evidence.
Charged with Robbery is Shawn WALKER (33 years) of Mississauga.
