Brampton – Officers from the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau have arrested a male party in relation to a series of convenience store robberies that occurred in the city of Mississauga and Toronto.
The series of robberies took place at the following dates/locations:
September 8th 2016 at 1189 Lakeshore Road East Mississauga
September 8th 2016 at 947 Lakeshore Road East Mississauga
September 9th 2016 at 1189 Lakeshore road East Mississauga
September 9th 2016 at 434 Horner Avenue Toronto
There were no injuries sustained to any employees and no weapon was seen.
Investigators were able to determine that the suspect was operating a red pickup truck. Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Unit and STEP Unit officers commenced a search for the vehicle. On September 10th 2016 the vehicle was located by the STEP Unit in the Lakeshore area of Mississauga. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time.
Kenneth FEREDAY a 35 year old male of no fixed address was arrested without incident upon returning to the vehicle.
Kenneth FEREDAY was charged with four counts of Robbery and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Kenneth FEREDAY was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brampton on September 11th, 2016.
