On July 17, 2014 at 9:23 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Lyon Park on York Road after receiving a report that a male had a gun. The man was located but no gun was found. Further investigation discovered that he was in possession of morphine and breaching a condition of his probation. The man was arrested.
A 31-year-old Guelph man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (CDSA) and breach probation. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on July 18, 2014.
