The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the community about an arrest in an Arson investigation.
On Monday, December 1, 2014, at 12:57 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call for a fire in the Oxford Street and Spadina Avenue area.

On Monday, December 15, 2014, Sean Gellvear, 40, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) five counts of Mischief over $5000
2) four counts of Mischief Endangering Life
3) four counts of Arson Having a Disregard for Human Life
4) two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation
5) Prowl by Night
He made a court appearance at Old City Hall on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 10 a.m., in court room 101, for a bail hearing.
