Arrest – Breach, Robbery

On Dec 23rd 2013, a female victim met up with a male acquaintance in the area of Edgehill Drive. It is alleged that the female was attempting to change a $50 for the male when he grabbed all the cash out of her hand relieving her of approximately $500. The male was observed fleeing the area at which time he got in a cab with another male (not involved) known to the female. The female did not call police and took matters into her own hands and began searching for the male whom relieved her of the cash. The female checked a few known establishments at which time she located the second male at a downtown bar.
The female began questioning the male as to his friends whereabouts and began making a scene. Police were called to the disturbance and commenced an investigation into the incident. As police began questioning the male regarding his friends location, it was revealed that the male was currently on outstanding charges for assault, mischief and failing to comply probation. One of his conditions was to not consume alcohol. Police removed the beer from the intoxicated males hand and subsequently arrested him for failing to comply his recognizance condition of not to consume.
The male was held pending a bail hearing.
