Just prior to 11pm on Sunday night, a 22 year old Barrie male was investigated by police near the intersection of Dunlop St. W. and Mary St. in relation to traffic offence while riding a bicycle. A routine check of police records indicated that the male was wanted by the Orillia Detachment of the OPP in regards to an outstanding warrant in the first instance for possession of stolen property under $5,000.00. He was arrested and taken to the Barrie Police Station where he was held for the OPP.
