On April 2nd, 2014, over the noon hour, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a 39 year old Kitchener male as part of an ongoing investigation in to the trafficking of Controlled Substances in the Region. Officers seized heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine with an estimated street value of $5000; $4300 in Canadian currency, as well as a motor vehicle. The male is being held in custody and will appear in court on April 3 to answer to charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking X 3 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
