Armed Robbery With Hatchet – Suspect At Large

On Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 12:03 a.m., Guelph Police attended the scene of a robbery at a residence on Rhonda Road Guelph. An unknown male, with his face disguised, entered the home brandishing a knife and small hatchet. He demanded money from the four occupants and a brief struggle ensued. The males fled the scene on foot.
A K-9 search was conducted with negative results. One occupant of the residence was treated for minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a male, possibly in his early twenties, wearing sunglasses, black clothing and a scarf across his face.
