On March 25, 2016, at approximately 11:00 p.m. three unknown suspects wearing disguises and attired in black baggy clothing entered Popeyes Restaurant located at 725 Ottawa Street South in the city of Kitchener. The restaurant was open for business at the time one suspect brandished a knife and an undetermined amount of cash was removed from the till before fleeing the store on foot. No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery. A Canine track was conducted with negative results.
