On August 25th, 2016 at approximately 4:45 a.m., The Macs Convenience Store located at 540 Westforest Trail, Kitchener was robbed at gun point. The two suspects entered the store and went directly to the till and demanded the clerk open the till and safe. One male was holding a rifle with a brown stock and metal barrel. The two suspects fled the area with approximately $500 and small quantity of cigarettes. The victim was not injured. The area was checked by responding officers and a canine unit. The suspects were not located and are still outstanding. Police are looking to identify the following males involved in this robbery: Suspect #1 – Approximately 6’ 0” with skinny build, wearing a brown Adidas hoodie with orange stripes, purple undershirt, black pants, black gloves, black flat shoes and black mask Suspect #2 – Approximately 5’10” with medium / stalky build, wearing a blue hoodie, black undershirt, black Adidas pants with white stripes, black gloves, black shoes, and white mask. Police are asking the public to be vigilant and be aware of their surroundings and request that people call police to report anything suspicious in this area.
