On Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:30 pm, Waterloo Regional Police were called to a report of a robbery at a Macs Convenience store on Victoria Street North in Kitchener. A man entered the store, held a knife up to the clerk and the manager and demanded cash. He then left the store. Witnesses who saw the robbery take place were able to assist the police, leading to officers arresting the suspect a short distance away. No one was seriously injured. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance with the investigation.
