On Friday June 17, 2016 at approximately 11:45 p.m., two male suspects entered the Heritage Convenience store at 200 Lorraine Avenue, Kitchener and demanded cash from the clerk. The males were armed with knives. The suspects then fled on foot. A canine track was initiated but he suspects were not located. On Saturday June 18, 2016 at approximately 1:15 a.m. a second robbery took place at the Gino’s Pizza situated at 1405 Ottawa Street North in the City of Kitchener involving the same two suspects. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register and the suspects again fled on foot. They are described as: 1 – male, light skin,wearing a black balaclava, blue sweater and running shoes. 2 – male, light skin, hoody, balaclava.
