Armed Robbery At Credit Union – Suspect At Large

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit is currently investigating a robbery at a credit union on Parkhill Main Street, in North Middlesex, Ontario.

On March 6, 2017, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a lone male suspect entered the credit union, made demands to an employee, and displayed a weapon. The suspect fled the credit union with an undisclosed amount of currency. There were no injuries in this incident.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot.

The suspect is described as male, aged early to mid-thirties, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing a blue track suit, grey hoodie, and white running shoes. The suspect was carrying a black bag at the time of the robbery.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating this male but are cautioning the public to call police and not approach the male.

This investigation is in its early stages and an update will be posted when more information becomes available.
