Location: OTTAWA ST N and OLD CHICOPEE DR, KITCHENER ON Canada
On August 4, 2015 at approximately 1:00am in the area of Ottawa Street North and Old Chicopee Drive in the City of Kitchener, two males approached 2 people walking northbound on Ottawa Street. The suspects immediately brandished what is believed to be a handgun and demanded personal property. The first suspect is described as male black, between the ages of 18-25, skinny, approximately 6’5, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The second suspect is described as male black, 18-25 years of age, skinny, 6’1, wearing black hoodie, black addidas track pants. Both suspects fled the area after obtaining personal items on Old Chicopee Drive towards Holborn Drive. No injuries were sustained as a result of this incident. Police remind the public to be vigilant about their surroundings and call Police if they observe suspicious activity.
