(PERTH EAST, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment are currently investigating an entry to an unlocked motor vehicle and outbuilding at a residential property in the Township of Perth East.
The incident is believed to have occurred during the early morning hours of August 30, 2018 when an unknown suspect entered the building in the area of Perth Line 42.
An unlocked vehicle was entered and ransacked by the suspect, who removed a small bag of loose change before departing the area.
Perth County OPP members are reminding area residents to prevent property crime by securing all vehicles, structures and valuables. Use exterior lighting whenever possible.
