(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday April 11th 2010 after 2 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer on patrol observed a fast moving pickup truck travelling North bound on Road 180 West of Bornholm.
The truck was locked in on radar travelling in excess of 50 km/h above the posted speed limit of 80 km/h. As a result, the 38 year old male driver from Walkerton was charged with “Racingâ€, and was served a summons to appear in Stratford Provincial Offences Court on May 25, 2010 to answer to the charge. The driver was also served a 7 day licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
