On January 8, 2016 at 7:00 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Eastview Road and Victoria Road for the report of a pedestrian struck. It is alleged that a white Chevrolet cube van turned left from Eastview and struck the pedestrian who was crossing Victoria.
The pedestrian, a 20-year-old Guelph male sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Guelph General Hospital.
The driver, a 50-year-old Guelph male has been charged with fail to yield to pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
