(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 5, 2015 at approximately 5:40 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a male that had outstanding warrants for his arrest walking along Wellington Street near Normanby Street, Mount Forest. He was arrested and while searching him, police located and seized suspected methamphetamine. He was taken to a local OPP Operations Centre.
42-year-old George HAMMILL of Wellington North Township has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Bail Court on August 6, 2015.
