On March 8, 2016 at approximately 6:30 p.m., 4 people (3 men/ 1 woman) were arrested in relation to drug trafficking. A subsequent search warrant was executed on Westmeadow Drive, in the City of Kitchener. As a result, a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, marihuana and unknown tablets were seized. A prohibited weapon (collapsible baton), cash and drug paraphernalia were also recovered. Two 27 year old males and a 23 year old female, all from Kitchener were held for a bail hearing. They face trafficking and weapons charges. A 26 year old Waterloo male was released on a Promise to Appear.
