(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police are asking retailers to help, after an Innisfil man was the latest victim of the CRA scam. The victim was called by a suspect who told him that he owed $4000 in back taxes, and instructed him to buy iTunes gift cards and read back the serial numbers over the phone. The victim went to grocery stores in Bradford and Innisfil to get the required number of cards, and did as instructed.
