(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On November 10, 2017, at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Emergency medical Services (EMS) and the Middlesex Centre Fire Service responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Eight Mile Road, between Hyde Park Road and Denfield Road.
A black pick-up truck travelling westbound on Eight Mile Road left the roadway and struck the south ditch causing it to rollover.
The male driver of the pick-up truck is deceased. No other vehicles were involved in this collision.
Eight Mile Road will be closed between Denfield Road and Hyde Park Road for approximately four (4) hours. Motorists will have to find alternative routes.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) officers are on scene to assist with the investigation.
The identity of the deceased is withheld pending Next of Kin (NOK) notification.
