Another Armed Mugging In Kitchener

On Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 12:10 a.m., a 25-year-old Kitchener man was walking along David Street in Kitchener when two male suspects approached him. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded his belongings. The victim cooperated and had his cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash taken. The suspects then fled. The victim was not injured. Waterloo Regional Police were called and searched the area with canine but were not able to locate the suspects. The first suspect is described as a white man, in his early 20s and between five feet six inches and five feet eight inches tall. He was wearing a red hoodie with a black jacket and was carrying a backpack. The second suspect is described as a white male, in his early 20s and between five feet eight inches and five feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing with long sleeves. Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact police at 519-650-8500 ext. 4499 or Crime Stoppers at 1888-222-8477.
