Another Armed Home Invasion – Shot Fired

On the 27th of January 2014 at approximately 12:30 am, three unknown males forced their way in to a north east residence where they committed a robbery against the four residents. It is alleged that the three males entered the residence armed with a shotgun, pistol and a canister of spray.

The one suspect male after entering the residence made a demand to the female victim at which time one of the male victims engaged in an altercation with the male suspect in an attempt to subdue him and take away the shotgun. A second male suspect who was in the basement, heard the altercation, came upstairs and allegedly fired a shot at the victim attempting to stop him from subduing the male suspect. The shot narrowly missed the victim ending up in the wall of the residence,

Sometime during the incident, two of the four victims were overcome by a substance that was brought by the suspects.

The suspects then fled the house with an undisclosed amount of property.

All four victims received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police are continuing with their investigation and will have more information to follow as they continue to investigate leads in the case.
