Annette Gerber – Drunk Driving

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday September 14, 2012, around 3:30 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer responded to the Gads Hill area where a pickup truck had been seen driving in an erratic manner. The officer located the pickup truck in a private driveway as the female driver was exiting the vehicle. While speaking to the driver the officer noted that she had been drinking an alcoholic beverage. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was subsequently transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville for Intoxilyzer breath tests. The Intoxilyzer tests resulted in readings above the legal limit.

Annette GERBER (36) from the Township of Perth East has been charged with “operation with over 80 mgs. of alcohol”. She has a court date scheduled in Stratford at the Ontario Court of Justice on October 22, 2012, to answer to this charge. She received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
