(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Wednesday July 03, 2013, shortly before 2 a.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Hwy 7 south of Stratford observed an ATV with two female riders travelling south bound along the highway. The officer pulled over the operator of the blue Arctic Cat ATV and discovered that she was a suspended driver.
Further inspection of the two riders revealed that they were in possession of break-in-instruments and that the operator was also in possession of methamphetamine.
Angela DRUMOND (50) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with possession of break in instruments, and possession of schedule l methamphetamine. She is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on August 19, 2013. She was also charged with drive while under suspension, and drive with no insurance.
Chantelle DUSCHENE (19) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with possession of break in instruments. She will also appear in Stratford Court on August 19, 2013 to answer to this charge.
The ATV was towed from the scene and has been impounded for 7 days.
