(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – On September 17, 2017, at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a witness report of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driving erratically on Highway 402, near Kerwood Road.
Officers located the CMV and initiated a traffic stop. Officers determined that the 60-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. Officers made a demand for the driver to provide a breath sample at the roadside. The driver registered a FAIL. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath tests. The breath tests revealed that the driver was over the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.
As a result of the police investigation, Andrzej GRUSZKA, of Mississauga, has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused’s driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on October 17, 2017.
