(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On July 16, 2012 at approximately 6:45 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer conducting RADAR patrol observed a Kawasaki motorcycle traveling northbound on Bluewater Veterans Highway at a high rate of speed. The officer activated the RADAR and a speed of 163 km/h was obtained; 83 km/h above the posted 80km/h speed limit.
Andrew LOWRY, age 26, from London, ON has been issued a summons for “Speeding – In excess of 50 km/h posted speed limitâ€Â. He has a scheduled appearance at Provincial Offences Court – Goderich on October 2, 2012. His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and the motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
