(STRATHROY-CARADOC, ON) – On November 15, 2017, at approximately 3:20 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Provincial Highway 402, Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
Officers determined that the 24-year-old female driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Amber MCWADE, of London, has been charged with Impaired Operation and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 20, 2017.
