(HURON EAST, ON) – On January 12, 2013 just after 9:00 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer stopped a Buick Rendezvous that entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint set up at the intersection of Brussels Line and Blyth Road. Upon speaking with the female driver officers detected an odour of an illegal drug inside the vehicle. After further investigation a search was conducted and a small quantity of an illegal drug was discovered inside the vehicle.
As a result, Amanda BUCK, age 27, from Huron East has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. She has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on February 25, 2013.
