Alma Conn has been fighting to get a meeting with Morris Turnberry, to discuss services, taxes etc. At the last council meeting, Alma Conn was adamant that a meeting with Morris Turnberry should take place ASAP.
Last night, Alma Conn was informed that this meeting is not going to take place this year, despite her passionate request to expedite arranging the meeting.
Apparently Alma’s request for a meeting as soon as possible, was not taken seriously by town staff. Staff has had a whole week to contact Morris Turnberry to arrange the meeting that Alma, and other Councillors wanted.
At the meeting last night, Gary Long said he called Morris Turnberry today and left a message.
