(WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) On April 7, 2013 at approximately 6:49pm a County of Wellington OPP officer was conducting moving radar on County Road 109 near Side Road 13, West Luther Township. The officer observed a westbound 2004 Grand Prix travelling well above the speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 138km/h in an 80km/h zone.
Allen Edmunds, age 36 of Ajax has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 15, 2013 to answer to the charge.
