(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On April 11, 2015, at approximately 1:10 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a possible impaired driver southbound on Denfield Road near Airport Drive, cross the centre line into the northbound lane towards the police vehicle.
The blue Ford pickup was stopped, and it was determined that the male driver had been drinking alcohol. The male was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing, which revealed he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Allan MURRAY, age 52, from Lucan Biddulph, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer to the charges in a London court on May 14, 2015.
