(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – Effective 6:22 am on January 29, 2014, All roads have been closed on the Bruce Peninsula due to high winds causing very poor visibility and road conditions.
Bruce County road crews are out working but are having trouble clearing the roads due to the high winds and drifting snow. Motorists are advised to stay off the roads today due to the treacherous road conditions.
The penalty for driving on a closed highway is a $110 fine and 3 demerit points, but the consequences can be far worse if you become involved in a collision, or stranded, in a white out
