Ali Salloum Wanted By Police – Assault With Weapon, Hit And Run

On Friday, June 24, 2016, at approximately 12:15 A.M., a 29 year old male was operating a motor vehicle in the area of Oxford Street at Wharncliffe Road when he noticed a pickup was following him. The pickup truck followed the male to the area of Highview Avenue East at Ferndale Ave. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Ali Salloum, accelerated and intentionally collided with the male’s vehicle. Salloum exited the pickup truck and attempted to gain access to the male’s vehicle. When Salloun was unable to gain access, he fled on foot. Police attended but were unable to locate Salloum. The male driver was not injured. Both drivers were known to each other.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating wanted male Ali Salloum, 36 years old of Quebec. Salloum is wanted for assault with a weapon, dangerous driving and one count of fail to remain at the scene of an accident. Ali Solloum is currently wanted by London Police Service on other outstanding warrants.
