Alex Clark – Obstructing Peace Officer, Stolen Property, Fail To Comply With Recognizance

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron OPP officers have laid charges in relation to a stolen bicycle investigation. A resident from George Street in Central Huron reported to police on February 20, 2012 that his garage was entered overnight and a men’s Norco mountain bike valued at approximately $650 was stolen.

At approximately 5:25 a.m. on February 20, 2012 a Huron OPP officer stopped a male riding the stolen bicycle on Queen Street in Central Huron. The male identified himself with a false name to the investigating officer however the true identity of the accused was soon discovered. Further checks revealed the accused was failing to abide by a curfew condition.

As a result, Alex CLARK, age 24, from Central Huron, ON has been charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000, and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He is currently in custody.
