ALERT: Special Meeting to Allow Public To Speak!

As North Huron’s political crisis continues to accelerate, Gary Long our town CAO/Clerk will be hosting a public meeting, which the public is strongly urged to attend. The meeting is at North Huron’s Wescast Community Complex to facilitate the large number of people expected to attend.

Members of council will be in attendance, void of any powers of their position. Neil Vincent will not have the authority to silence anyone. In fact all members of council have been requested not to speak, but to observe.

This extremely rare meeting format will allow all members of the public to offer suggestions and to ask questions without the fear being berated by council or having Neil Vincent bang his gavel like an angry child playing whack-a-mole.

If you have any suggestions, questions or comments for council, this is the meeting in which you will be heard, as Mr. Long will actually write down all suggestions and comments. These comments and suggestions will be used to guide council’s actions in the coming years.

WFP would like to applaud Gary Long for his dedication to this process, and for making sure everyone’s voice is heard by council.

There will be free coffee and cookies to make the event more social than the normally adversarial council meetings.
