ALERT: Patriots Are Silent Act (PASA) To Be Considered 01Feb2016 – Should Map To Councillor’s Homes Be Released If Passed?

The Public and Press are going to be stripped of their remaining dignity as council plans on completely eliminating Press and Public gallery questions and comments at council meetings. This means your final Right to speak will be taken away if they pass the “Patriots Are Silent Act” (aka draft procedural guidelines).

If you have any questions or concerns about this new by-law, or anything regarding the management of the corporation of North Huron call brock vodden at 519-523-9393 or neil vincent at 519-357-2336 (24/7).

North Huron has done everything in it’s power to silence the Public and to humiliate and bully those that attempt to speak out for what they believe to be right. This morally reprehensible behavior is systemic and resulted in the North Huronians cowering in silence as their Rights are being stripped away as quick as a hair-stuck band-aid in an attempt to reduce the pain of the Resistance. It has persisted so long, this cancer has spread throughout the entire Community, infected our schools and manifests as teachers consistently turn a blind eye to assaults and bushing everything off as “innocent bullying”.

Written requests to address council are now denied unless it is to praise or worship council or staff. Those that have questioned council before have been banned from speaking as a delegation. Writing a letter results in them ignoring it, or if you are lucky they acknowledge it, file it, then ignore it.

Now they want to take away your last remaining option to question them by removing Press and Public Gallery questions and comments at council meetings. It looks like the only way to have a live meeting with these councillors will be to show up on their doorsteps. So, if the “Patriots Are Silent Act” passes, wouldn’t it then be appropriate to post a map and addresses of councillors so the Public can speak directly with the councillors they pay to represent them?

Did you know they couldn’t afford a legal review of the Hometown Security Act, but had “lawyer money” to turn down a delegation request to question council about that same act? They cited they contacted their municipal solicitor before denying the request. In fact they turned down more than one delegation request after allegedly contacting their municipal solicitor.

So, who decides when they can “afford” a lawyer? Expanded “right of entry” in the HSA was NOT important enough to call a lawyer about, but if someone wants to question council about the HSA they contact a lawyer to see if they “have to” allow it, then deny it.
