(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including members of the Huron OPP Property Crimes Unit continue to investigate a break, enter and theft that took place in Crediton last week.
Sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on February 16, 2017 those responsible attended a Victoria Avenue residence whereupon they entered into the residence through a rear patio door. Once inside the residence the home was ransacked and several items were stolen including three firearms.
The following items have been reported as stolen:
A brown, GSG-STG semi-automatic .22 calibre Model 44 rifle.
A 410 Classic single shot shotgun
A black, Remington semi-automatic .22 calibre Model 597 rifle.
A black Nikon Cool Pix camera with accessory bag.
A white, Sony VAIO laptop
A men’s silver Fossil wrist watch
Vehicle Documents and Passports
A total value of the stolen goods has not been established at this time.
