In the Wingham Ward, only two people have stepped up to run for the two Council positions. If more Candidates don’t step up before the Sept 12 nomination deadline, the Wingham Ward election will be canceled, as the only two Candidates will automatically get the two seats. Winghamites will still get to vote for who becomes Reeve/Mayor, if they think it makes a difference, since only two Old Boys Club members are running.
Blyth is suffering the same fate, only two Candidates are running for two positions. If no one else steps up, they will only get to vote for who gets to be Reeve/Mayor.
