(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On January 21, 2018 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of fuel from a gas station on Main Street West, Palmerston. The white sedan was last seen travelling west towards Listowel.
Investigation revealed the vehicle was a stolen car from Brussels. Examination of video surveillance identified the driver as a male known to police as wanted and a disqualified driver.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 32-year-old Anthony James (Tony) DILLON of Lucknow. He is facing the charges of Theft under $5,000, Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000, Driving while Disqualified, and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
