TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO 3-DAY LICENCE SUSPENSION
On the 2nd day of July 2009 at approximately 12:45 pm, Huron OPP officers received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on a motorcycle. Detailed information was provided to police who were then able to locate the driver turning north onto Benmiller Line from Huron Road.
During the traffic stop the officer determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol and a demand was made for the driver to provide a roadside sample of his breath. The driver complied and the reading was an “alertâ€. As a result, the driver, a 55 year old Windsor resident, had his licence seized and suspended for three days and his motorcycle was towed from the scene.
