(PERTH COUNTY, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) wants to advise that the following highways have now been closed:
Highway 23 between Mitchell and Highway 7 (Elginfield Road)
Highway 86 from Listowel west to Wingham
Highway 8 between Mitchell and Stratford
Highway 7 from Stratford to Perth Road 123 (West of Town of St Marys)
Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to remind motorists to stay off these closed roadways. Do not jeopardize your safety by driving on these roadways.
All motorists are encouraged to regularly check weather and road travel conditions by monitoring local media sources. Additionally motorists can call 5-1-1 or check online at www.Ontario.ca/trip for up- to-date road conditions for provincially maintained highways.
