(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) On March 3, 2013 at about 1:49am, County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting a RIDE spotcheck on Highway 6 North and College Ave West just outside of Guelph. As police spoke to the driver of a 2002 Hyundai, they detected the odor of burnt marihuana coming from the vehicle. The driver surrendered a quantity of marihuana to police.
Adam Banjar, age 35 of Paris On has been charged with Possession of Marihuana under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on April 16, 2013 to answer to the charge.
